A bit of negative energy expelled...

This is not a mean-spirited painting. It is sad for me, but I did feel a lot of negative energy expelled from me when I was painting it. This is the rough for an image I have of my Mom. Joan Crawford's head on top of Kali, the Goddess of Destruction's body with various items in her hands: a wooden spoon, a baby rattle, a cross, a golf club, a ball of string, the heart of Wonder Woman, a gavel, a dollar bill, one hand is on her face, the last is petting her paralegal hyena Steve's head. Next to Steve are the lesser hyenas, Mike and Bonnie, and in front is David Whitman, the lawyer Jackal. Joan Kali is stepping on Wonder Woman's wounded body. She is bleeding from the heart. (I was a child of the 70's...Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman was the superheroine that I related my mom with, I guess really one of the only ones of the era...). Her lasso of truth will be hanging from the pillars like a noose. The pillars will be the entry to the door of the Church of Mo' Money...
Revised March 16, 2010...
2nd draft...added three stooges as belt for Joan Kali, hole in Wonder Woman's chest..Letters need to be reworked...Not quite right yet...

Revised May 23, 2011
Decided to throw out this painting. It hurts too much.

One comment on jackal Steve...his great grandfather is the original Jacuzzi, the one who developed the special bath for his disabled son...Oh far we stray from greatness...When the US military contracted him to produce tanks with a faulty construction (they imploded and killed the soldier inside) With good conscience he refused to make them any longer...He was blackmailed that his citizenship would be taken away and he said he would leave and make his base elsewhere, the Bahamas...I love that story...and then I watched 'Muppets in Space'...
